The Independent Kids Committee empowers our school community to raise confident, capable, and happy kids — independent in the real world, thoughtful in the digital one.

Our mission is to help parents and caregivers find the balance between keeping kids safe and giving them the freedom to try, fail, and succeed on their own. Through conversations, events, and kid-led activities, we encourage families to nurture real-world skills, resilience, and responsibility—while navigating the new challenges of screens and social media with awareness and intention.
