We wanted to highlight two NEW classes:

Direct and Star in Your Own Film Short!

Five4Five Films offers your child a unique opportunity to create original short films! Storytelling, writing, acting, directing, producing, and more, your child will experience first-hand the primary components of the filmmaking process to bring their ideas to life! Utilizing children's vast imaginations, our experienced filmmaking instructors provide a safe, fun, and inspiring environment for your child to express themselves and be themselves and explore their boundless creative vision. Whether behind the camera or in front, no prior interest in or knowledge of filmmaking is required. Just an imagination to create and a desire to explore. A showcase of all the great work will be available at the end of term showcase.

Raise The Bar: Hip Hop Songwriting, Studio Recording, and Performance

Calling all singers, rappers, song songwriters, and performers. Have you ever recorded your voice on professional music equipment? Here is your chance to write a song, record it, and receive your very own CD of the song!

Raise The Bar, taught by an established Billboard Charts and Rolling Stone Magazine featured hip hop artist, takes students on a journey through completing a professionally recorded hip hop song. Top of line music industry standard recording equipment is used in the classroom as students write the song as a group, record, and are given the choice to rap, sing, play a role in writing or choreographing an end of class performance.

Coming up on its 1st year anniversary, Raise The Bar is currently hosted at PS 321, PS 118, and PS 10 in Park Slope. This will be the debut for Raise The Bar in Carroll Gardens.
