Parents often tell us that children present difficult behaviors at home that teachers don't observe at school. And of course, the opposite is also true. Teachers may observe troublesome behaviors at school that are never seen at home.
In this workshop, we'll take a look at some reasons why this happens, and what parents can do to help their child at home. We'll talk about techniques in place at school that can be adapted for home, too. And finally, we'll talk about counseling options available in-school and outside of school, and when each makes the best sense for a child or the family.
You don't have to RSVP, but it helps if you do so that we can get a rough sense of how many parents or guardians to expect at the workshop.
