Hi PBE Families,

Grab your top hats and dancing shoes—the spotlight is waiting! Permission slips for our annual PBE LIVE Variety Show were sent home. Whether your student is a magician, a musician, or a master of the stage, we can’t wait to see them shine!

📜 The Rules of the Stage

To make sure everyone gets their moment in the sun, please follow these "backstage" guidelines:

• The 2-Minute Rule: All acts must be 2 minutes or less. (Limit: 1 act per student, or 1 solo + 1 group).

• The Soundtrack: Please provide an edited MP3 on a thumb drive for auditions. Note: For singing acts, instrumental tracks only (no vocal tracks allowed).

  • Need a hand with music editing? Email Joey Sanchez at jsanchez233@gmail.com for some technical magic!

• Keep it Classy: All acts must be school-appropriate (no weapons, inappropriate themes, or "adult" lyrics).

• The Entourage: Children must be supervised at auditions and rehearsals unless they are currently checked into Primetime, Whole Child, or Klassic Kids.

📅 The Road to Showtime (Save the Dates!)

Attendance at auditions and assigned rehearsals is mandatory to stay in the show.

• Wed, Apr 8: 📝 Permission Slips Due! (Return to your teacher).

• Mon, Apr 20 @ 12:15 PM: 🎤 Auditions! Be "show-ready" with all props and music.

• Apr 27 & 28: 🩰 Assigned Rehearsals (Act 1 on Monday, Act 2 on Tuesday).

• Wed, Apr 29: 🎭 Full Dress Rehearsal (Stay until 3:00 PM).

• Thu, Apr 30: ☀️ Daytime School Performance.

• Fri, May 1 @ 6:00 PM: 🌟 THE BIG SHOW! (Performers arrive by 5:15 PM).

A Note for Stage Parents: Every performer needs a supporting crew! Parents/caregivers are required to volunteer during show week. Stay tuned for your "backstage pass" assignment details soon!
