Upcoming events for this week. Please see the details below and mark your calendars!

School Events:

  • Minimum Days: (17th - 21st Nov 2025) 

    Minimum Days, dismissal would be at 12:15 PM. Students attending an afterschool program will be sent directly to their respective program location immediately following dismissal.
  • Parent-Teacher Conferences: (17th - 21st Nov 2025 after 12:15PM) 

    This is a friendly reminder to please check with your child's teacher regarding Parent-Teacher Conferences.
    Conferences are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's progress, strengths, and goals for the remainder of the school year.

  • Auditions for Missoula play "Jungle Book": (Monday 17th Nov 2025 at 12:30PM)

    Auditions for the FOPBE Missoula play, "The Jungle Book," are in the auditorium on Monday, November 17th, at 12:30 PM (ending around 2:15 PM).

    • Cast Announcement: Starting at 2:20 PM, a parent must be present for the announcement (2:20 PM - 2:30 PM), unless your child is enrolled in KlassicKids, Whole Child, or Prime Time.

    • Reminder: Pack an extra snack.

    • Opt-Out: If your child is no longer auditioning, please email Lindsey or Kendra (lindsey.masu@gmail.com or kendratelford@gmail.com) before the audition.

    • Afterschool Programs: Students in PrimeTime, KlassicKids, or Whole Child must check in with their program before coming to the auditorium.

  • Pizza Wednesday: (Wednesday 19th Nov 2025)

    We will be serving Pizza Pal Pizza in front of the auditorium.

  • Jogging Club: (Wednesday 19th Nov and Friday 21st Nov 2025)

    Ready to run? Join us on the field every Wednesday and Friday morning!

    • Time: We start running promptly at 7:30 AM. Arrive by 7:25 AM to grab your Runner ID card and stretch.

    • Location: Enter the field via the Turquoise Street gate.

    • Note: We cancel only in case of rain. Family and friends are always welcome to join us!


  • Ice Cream Fridays: (Friday 21st Nov 2025)

    Support the 5th Grade! Grab a delicious ice cream treat for only $1 outside the auditorium.

  • Food Drive at PBE: (Ending  21st Nov 2025)

    PBE is helping create a "community cares" mobile food pantry to provide shelf-stable items to needy students and schools.
    You can support by donating any needed items to the front office starting tomorrow and ending on November 21st at 12:15 PM.

  • See's Candy Fundraiser: 

    It's the perfect time to stock up on your favorite See's Candies for the holidays, gifts, or a treat—all while directly supporting PBE programs!

  • PBE is Looking for PALS

    PBE is looking for PALS! Pals are Parents at Lunch Support. Are you available to volunteer Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Fridays from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.?
    Being a PBE PAL is a great way to support our school and also see your child during the school day. If you are available and willing, even if it is just one or two days a week, please email Dr. Schnitzer at kschnitzer@sandi.net.
    Being a PBE volunteer is easy, you just need to complete a volunteer application, provide a copy of TB (tuberculosis) clearance - these are good for 4 years, and provide a copy of your driver's license.

  • ASE - After School Enrichment Winter Session

    Registration is now open for Winter After School Enrichment! Classes begin the first week of December and generally last until Spring Break.

  • 🎄🍬 Candy Donations Needed! 🍬🎄

    Please donate your extra Halloween candy — or any candy you’d like to share — for the PB Holiday Parade!

    All donated candy will be handed out by parade participants to spread sweet holiday cheer to the audience.

  • December Core Academy at PBE: (Saturday 6th Dec 2025)

    Enroll in the FREE Core Academy for your child to receive extra support in Math/English, enjoy free meals, and receive attendance credit.
    Every day attended earns $62 for PBE (helping recover funds lost to absences) while providing a fun, supportive learning environment.
    Sign up today to boost your child's skills and directly support our school's programs!

  • Link Your Ralphs Card to PBE!

    Link your Ralphs Shopper's Card to FRIENDS OF PACIFIC BEACH ELEMENTARY (FOPBE) for free to automatically donate a portion of your purchases to PBE!
    To enroll: Sign into your Ralphs account, go to "Community Contributions," search for "FRIENDS OF PACIFIC BEACH ELEMENTARY," and click "Enroll."

  •  Copy Committee Volunteer:
     
    Join the Copy Crew to help teachers! Parents are needed to make copies in the copy room next to the office right after drop-off on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
    It only takes 5–15 minutes and helps lighten the teacher's workload! Contact Jenna Micolino at JMicolino@gmail.com with questions.

  • Mission Bay Youth Baseball

    Get ready to play ball! Mission Bay Youth Baseball (MBYB) is open to PBE classmates aged 4 to 12 for the Spring 2026 season (Feb 21st – May 3rd).
    Registration opens November 1st!
