Hello everyone,

We have a few important events coming up that we hope you can attend. Please see the details below and mark your calendars!

School Events:

  • Back-to-School Night (27th August 2025)

    Join us on annual Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, August 27th! This is an adults only event, so please arrange childcare for your students.

    If you have more than one child attending PBE, you will have two sessions to choose from:

    Session 1 will be held in classrooms from 5:00-5:25 PM and session 2 will be held in classrooms from 5:30-5:55 PM.
  • Tea & Chat with the Principal (29th August 2025)

    Join Dr. Schnitzer for the FIRST principal chat of the school-year! She will be sharing the vision and plans for the 2025-2026 school-year, as well as new updates for this year! We hope to see you there!

Community Events / Clubs:

  • Cub Scouts Pack 246

    Cub Scouts are a fun and educational program for young boys AND GIRLS in grades K-5, focusing on character development, citizenship training, personal fitness, and leadership, while participating in outdoor activities such as hikes and campouts.

  • Mission Bay Youth Baseball

    Pony Baseball league for kids ages 4-12 located in Pacific Beach

  • Coastal Bay Softball

    Coastal Bay Girls Softball League is a local, non-profit organization, providing our Community Youth, the best possible opportunity for development and guidance in learning the sport of Softball.

  • Community Recreation Assessment

    The City of San Diego has launched its first-ever Community Recreation Needs Assessment to gather data and improve recreation services across all nine Council Districts.

    The project will occur over several months in three phases, using surveys, workshops, and public meetings to collect feedback on community recreational, communication, and financial needs. The goal is to create a strategic plan that ensures equitable recreation opportunities for all residents.

    Residents and organizations are urged to participate in the survey (deadline February 28, 2026) and attend public meetings to help shape the future of San Diego's Parks and Recreation system.
