It is not a secret that all PGS students love to read! On September 22nd, PGS will host a Summer Reading Under the Sea Dance Party to celebrate our student readers. Bring your reading log to participate! You can get a summer reading log here or print your Avon Public Library log.

"A Place For Sam" 
is coming to PGS!
The PTO is excited to bring local author and illustrator, Shawn George and Jan Cohen to Pine Grove! Shawn is a previous PGS parent and Jan is a beloved retired PGS art teacher. Together, Shawn and Jan will present their award-winning book to our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders on October 4th!

  • Avon Girl Scout Troop 66371 is working towards earning their bronze award by hosting several toiletry drives for Gifts of Love. For more information, click here.
  • Avon Lion's Carnival will take place Friday, Sept. 22-24th at 99 Thompson Road. Come for fireworks, rides, games, and food! Visit Avon Lion's Carnival for more information. 
  • Avon Friends for Equity will hold their 3rd Annual Community Festival on Saturday, October 14th from 1-3PM.  While celebrating Avon's diverse student body, come and enjoy delicious food, music and a good time! RSVP here today!
