Last Friday, the PGS PTO was proud to host an all-school assembly with Mr. Andre Keitt, African Storyteller and Poet, also known as the Greatheart Groit!  Students and staff were thoroughly entertained listening to his engaging and theatrical way of storytelling!  There were many moments when he had the whole gym erupting with laughter with his stories. This assembly coordinated with our focus on our Character Pillar of Respect, as we are learning about respecting all cultures and all people.  Thank you, Mr. Keitt, for sharing your gift of storytelling and heritage with the students of PGS!

Pine Grove School's Family Heritage Celebration is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st. There will be both an event during the school day for students and an evening event from 5:30-6:30pm. Families, please consider joining us in the evening for the fun and informative event! Face painting will be available at the evening event! Thank you to our Staff Diversity & Inclusion Committee for hosting!!

Messages due TOMORROW!
Send your student off with a note of congratulations as they graduate from PGS! Personal messages are written in the back of the yearbook and must be 50 words or less, including your sign-off (Love, Mommy, Daddy, and Kitty)  
If you would like to submit a baby picture to accompany your message, please upload your photo to the attached link.  Be sure to rename the file to your child's name.  Photo must be a head shot and in jpeg format only.  If you choose not to have a baby picture, your message will include the school photo from the beginning of the school year.

Yearbook
Please upload your children's photos to this link all year long. The more photos we have, the more students we are able to feature in the yearbook. We also encourage you to download the Entourage app (school code: 80487) to your mobile device so as soon as you take a picture, you can easily upload it to the yearbook **Please note: If you do not wish to have your child's photo in the yearbook or on the school's website, please do not upload your photos to the yearbook link. Kind Works Fundraiser May 21st from 6-9pm: Come and support Kind Works, which is an organization that promotes kindness through community based projects, volunteering and education at their largest fundraiser of the year - Celebration of Kind Works! This is a very kid-friendly event and children attend free with an adult at Reverie Brewing Company. The evening will include: live music and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, local food and drinks, a live and silent auction (including their mosaic benches) and a pop-up Shop KIND store.
