4th Grade Families,
As your student’s time at PGS winds down, we are excited to share the special events planned for the rest of the year! There is so much for our students to look forward to as we celebrate this memorable milestone together.
More details about each event will be shared individually as the events get closer, but we wanted to give you these dates now so you can mark your calendars and join in the excitement!
Here is where we will need your help to make these events successful:
Class Photo- Make sure to send your student to school that day wearing their blue PGS Class of 2026 t-shirt (or a blue t-shirt if they didn't purchase a PGS shirt).
Sycamore Day- Many parent volunteers are needed to help make this day run smoothly! Be on the look out for volunteer sign-ups in early May.
Clap Out & Slideshow- Parents are invited to attend the 4th Grade Clap Out (parade around the school) beginning at 9:15am. Immediately following will be a slideshow. More information coming soon about uploading your favorite PGS student photos for the slideshow!
We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing PGS Class of 2026!
Our school's Community Council is working to help out in a BIG way! They are hosting a fundraiser with CCMC and RBS. Donate $1 to dress like a Superhero on Friday, April 24th! All monies raised benefit CCMC!
In addition, you can join the RBS and PGS combined team to run the Kids Mighty Mile or 5K Race along with Ms. Devin Van Patten and your peers on April 26th! Please see the flier below to register. You can reach out to Ms. Van Patten or Ms. Driscoll with any questions. Thank you for considering to support this great cause!

Kind Works Fundraiser May 21st from 6-9pm: Come and support Kind Works, which is an organization that promotes kindness through community based projects, volunteering and education at their largest fundraiser of the year - Celebration of Kind Works! This is a very kid-friendly event and children attend free with an adult at Reverie Brewing Company. The evening will include: live music and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, local food and drinks, a live and silent auction (including their mosaic benches) and a pop-up Shop KIND store.
