A special thank you to Christina Geist who read her NY Times best selling book "Buddy's New Buddy" to our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes on Friday. The students really enjoyed hearing her story about being yourself and making new friends. The PTO also gifted all of our K-2 teachers with an autographed copy of her book for their classroom! It was a great day and the students loved having her at PGS for such a special visit!

A huge thank you goes out to Allison Yaffee for coordinating Christina's visit.

BOOKS NEEDED!

PGS installed and registered a Little Free Library last spring. It provides the community with an opportunity to share and receive free books. It’s been well received and used by PGS students and families. In order to keep our Little Free Library operating it needs more books to share. If your family or child enjoys getting books from the Little Free Library or you're just clearing out

old books please consider sharing them with the PGS Little Free Library. If you have any questions please contact Renee Isaac at risaacster@gmail.com.

In the month of March the Community Council is collecting items in support of two animal rescues.

Gifts of Love is in desperate need of pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit, and toiletries. They are also completely out of bath towels and will take any that are free of stains and holes. If you are able to donate any of these items, they can be dropped off Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm at 34 East Main Street in Avon. Thank you for your help!

Nurses Office

Nurse DeRossi is in need of new or used pants with an elastic waist and new underwear. All sizes are appreciated! Please send any donations into the from office. Thank you!
