What a great day it was to celebrate Summer Reading! All students who completed their summer reading logs enjoyed popsicles on the courtyard on Friday. It was a little chilly, but the students didn't mind. There were smiles all around! Who doesn't love popsicles and books! 

The PTO would like to thank all the new PGS families that came out to mingle with us last Thursday for a casual night out. We were so happy to meet some new faces and look forward to seeing you at PGS and around town. A special thank you to Dom's Coffee for hosting us and for the delicious wine and cheese. The PGS PTO want to send a big thank you to all the families who joined us for our first ever outdoor movie night! The excitement was palpable as the chairs and blankets were set up, and the lines for the concessions grew! We hope that this will become an annual tradition at PGS! All toiletry donations for Gifts of Love are greatly appreciated! We delivered these much needed items yesterday and have included their thank you note below. The PGS PTO would like to thank all the PTO members who helped to set up and worked at the concession stand throughout the night!

Lastly, a huge shout out for Kelsey Nemarich the driving force behind this wonderful family event!

Thank you to everyone who shopped and took advantage of the J Crew and PGS PTO collaboration! We hope you enjoy your new garments! J Crew company is giving back to PGS PTO 10% of the total sales - $230! 

We would like to thank J Crew Company and we hope to do this partnership again next year! 

New! Custodian Appreciation Day  

Sunday, October 2nd is Custodian Appreciation Day, and the PTO plans to celebrate our fantastic crew on Monday, October 3rd. Please help to show our wonderful and dedicated PGS custodians our appreciation for all they do by having your child write a note or draw a picture of thanks for them. Please have your child bring their note to their classroom teacher by Friday, September 30th.
