Hello PFA Families-

We are gearing up for another blessed year at PFA. We are so happy that your family is joining us for another year of fun and learning in a Christ-filled environment. I wanted to let everyone know that with this coming school year there will be a few changes regarding how I am serving at PFA.

I will be back to teaching 3 classes which will end up taking up more of my time. Because of this, in conjunction with where the Lord is leading my heart, I will be pulling back from my "assistant principal" type responsibilities and focusing more on being a Guidance Counselor for 7th-12th grade. I will also focus on students with accommodations for these grade levels.

Many of you know Mrs. Grisham who has been our fabulous teacher resource support person this past year. We are blessed to have her transition into teaching a couple of classes but also to partner with me in creating a team that can better support our students with accommodations in grades K-6. She has a lot of experience in this field and I am excited to have her working with me to help better support our community.

So, moving forward, if your student has accommodations with us for learning challenges, you will hear from Mrs. Grisham if you are K-6 or you will hear from me if you are grades 7-12. As Guidance Counselor, I will be available to all families grades 7-12 who need to discuss anything from getting organized to preparing for college.

As always, we are all here to help, so if you are not sure who to go to for any reason, just check in the office and they will point you in the right direction. We look forward to serving your families this year.
