PPS Linden Race for Education Fundraiser

The Linden Race for Education is designed to promote an active lifestyle and raise funds for classroom resources, language program enrichment, special events, club support, and much more.  Our goal is to raise $5000 and, as of the morning of Friday, October 4, the students have raised $4000!

 

If you would like to donate, please visit https://www.race4ed.com/pps or send a  cash or check (made out to the Linden PTA) donation to the school office.  When sending a donation to the office, please include the student's name and grade along with how it should be divided up if it contains multiple donations.  Please note...we are not focusing on the amount of the donations.  Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Students are rewarded based on the number of donations that they receive.  

 

The Race for Education will take place on Friday, October 11 behind the school at the playground/basketball court.  If it rains, we will move indoors.  There will not be a make-up day.  All K-5 students will be allowed to participate, even if they do not find sponsors.  Only those students who received sponsor donations are eligible for prizes.

 

Students should dress as they would for a gym class, including appropriate footwear.  Students are also encouraged to wear their Linden Spirit Wear or red shirts.  

 

Schedule is as follows:

Grades K, 1 & 2     9:53am-10:35am Period 1

Grades 3 & 4      10:35am-11:17am Period 2

Grade 5     11:17am- 11:59am Period 3

 

We will have water available for the students.  Students are encouraged to bring refillable water bottles with their names on them.

 

If your child has asthma and you have not sent an inhaler to the nurse’s office for this school year, please do so.  The students will be very active!
