Good afternoon Pyrtle Family, 

Two things from PTO as we head into the weekend; 

1) Drop-Off Done Right - we've still got lots of drop-off cards to hand out on various mornings in the drop-off lane.  Make sure you're pulling all the way forward, having students ready to get out safely, adults not parking/exiting the vehicles, and then moving on.  

IF you've received a card you can either return it in the drop-off lane when you see the yellow buckets, send it with your student to drop in the main office, or bring it to the PTO meeting next week.  We'll be doing our first drawing for some fun prizes at the meeting Monday night.  

IF you have not yet, PTO Board members will still be making appearances some mornings before school. 

2) PTO Meeting - Monday 1/23 at 6 PM in the Library.  Remember child care IS provided.  We'll be checking in on some things for 2nd Semester (i.e. Food & Fun Night this Spring) some updates on our budget/spending AND having some great discussions.

In lieu of a guest speaker this month please come and add your voice to what will be a beneficial conversation for all of us as parents and educators.  We plan to use this time to look at what challenges us when raising/educating/working with kids.  The shared experiences of the room will benefit us all this month and as topics or interests come of this it will help identify ideas for guest speakers and opportunities for our Pyrtle Family this semester and next Fall.
