It's time to clean up the Pyrtle Garden for the winter. Volunteers spent many hours cleaning up the garden this summer, and then several volunteers helped weed and maintain it this fall. Now it's time to cut things back so that it's in good shape to grow again next spring.
Will you share a bit of your Sunday afternoon to help? We will start at 2:00 and the more people we have, the less time it will take. This is one of the few volunteer opportunities available this school year given COVID-19 precautions.
Per LPS rules, you must wear a mask and fill out a form that will be emailed to you after you sign up. If you already have completed this form, you do not need to again.
It would be helpful to bring your own gardening gloves, a spade, a clippers, and a lawn/leaf bag (though some bags will be provided). Volunteers will receive directions--you do not need to be an expert gardener to help!
