Did you know that Ralston started a food waste and recycling program last week during lunch?

This program started last week led by Ralston parent, Annie Loechell. We are partnering with The Evergreen Sustainability Alliance to teach students about what food items can be added to buckets for composting, what containers can be recycled, and what goes into the landfill. So far, over 80 pounds of food waste was kept out of the landfill and will be turned into compost by this cool local organization.
