We are excited to announce that the PTA will be initiating an annual give back day, getting each student involved in giving back to the community. This event will be held most likely in February, and during the school day.
We would like to hold a meeting for anyone interested in hearing/adding to ideas, willing to volunteer the day of, or becoming part of the official Give Back committee.
A few ideas of what kids may do for their service time:
Make rope dog toys for Foothills Animal Shelter - https://
Decorate and fill treat bags for local group home kiddos
Make bookmarks that we laminate for local nursing homes
The first meeting to plan for this event is November 28th at 10am with the location to be announced.
