Let's Appreciate our Teachers and Staff by Funding Education in Colorado! (Quick opportunity this weekend!)
Thu, Jul 28 1:40pm

Hello from Teacher Appreciation and happy summer!  I am not asking for monetary donations, but for a few minutes of your time.  This weekend the final signatures are being collected to get Initiative 63 on the November ballot.  Colorado teachers are the least competitively paid in the country and there are over 3,300 open positions in our schools (teachers, bus drivers, food services workers, and more).  WE CAN CHANGE THIS through Initiative 63!  That's what the money is for!

Who: Colorado residents who want to properly fund our schools without raising taxes

What: Signature Collection on Elizabeth Collard's driveway - come on by and sign the petition

When: Saturday 7/30 from 2-6 and Sunday 7/31 from 8-12 (it will take 60 seconds to sign!)

Where: 30480 Monarch Court Evergreen (in the Ridge at Hiwan, near Evergreen King Soopers)

If Evergreen is not convenient, check out the myriad of other metro locations: Signing locations

Why: Because we can appreciate teachers and staff all year long with treats and cards but they also need MONEY

How: Initiative 63 info

You can just drop by!  Text me if you'd like: 303-475-5344

Thank you!  - Elizabeth Collard
