So...you wanna be a MOFO!

You're in good company and we're so glad you're here! The Mountaineer Founders are a group of families who will help support Ralston Elementary if the PTA falls short of it's fundraising goals or if there is a special request from the school when it doesn't receive enough district funding (i.e. a bathroom renovation). We plan to meet Ralston's needs as they arise to continue improving our school and maintain the level of teacher support and resources we've come to expect from Ralston, like good teacher-to-student ratios and field trips. Who would make a good MOFO?
1. Your family is comfortable financially but you don't have time to give as a volunteer at fundraising events
2. Your family would donate more to the PTA if asked and you were able, with no required minimum donation required from the PTA

What are the problems the MOFOs aim to solve?
1. If enrollment numbers drop, Ralston receives less money from JeffCo, meaning fewer PARAs and special projects
2. PTA-sponsored fundraising events require time and buy-in from parent volunteers, making them challenging to recruit for and difficult for our busy school calendar to accommodate
