Dear Redwood Heights Community,

We’re fast approaching the end of the school year. OUSD has given us a directive for teachers to come into the classroom next week, May 18 - 22 to prepare classrooms for a deep cleaning over the summer. During this time teachers will also be picking up their personal belongings and gathering student work and belongings for parent pickup the week of May 25th. (Due to the short amount of time teachers will have in the classrooms, some student work won’t be available until the start of next school year in August.) As a result of this, Zoom meetings and video instruction will be reduced next week. Teachers will share with you their adjusted schedule for next week.

Please read the details below:

Report Cards

  • Please note that teachers have been directed to only complete the comments section of the report card for the final trimester.

  • The teachers have a choice to either email your report cards to you or have it printed and prepared for pickup. They will let you know.

  • All returning students in grades K-4 who have borrowed a Chromebook may keep the Chromebook until we return in the fall.

  • All 5th graders and students who will not be returning to Redwood Heights in the fall will need to return their Chromebook, 5th-grade textbooks. The 5th-grade teachers will provide families with a list of additional items that must be returned to school on THU, May 28th between 8:30 and 2:00. More details to follow.

Library Books

  • All library books should be returned to the table in front of the school on the week of May 25th when picking up your child’s belongings.

Medication Pickup

  • Families of children with health conditions who have medication stored on campus may pick-up medication during the time period listed below based on the last name.
