Dear RHS Community!

Thank you for attending our 2018-2019 Back to School Night! We hope you made great connections with caregivers and teachers.  Much appreciations to our teachers for their hard-work and preparation. Thank you to all of our room parents for your supporting our teachers and classroom communities.

We hope to see you at the 1st Parent Education Night: Fostering A Positive School Climate @ RHS, Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm.

This presentation explains our school-wide Climate & Culture program and student expectations. It explains how parents can be involved in teaching and supporting RHS expectations for appropriate behaviors at school. You will learn about our new Caregiver/Teacher/ Student Redwood Heights Pledge, Upstander/Student Allied behavior, TOOLBOX and the school-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (often referred to as school-wide PBIS). This program is a model for creating a predictable and positive environment in which students can learn and grow. By implementing a program of consistent teaching of behavioral expectations, reinforcement, and appropriate consequences, our school can continue to create a climate of success for all students.
