A Redwood Frights Thank You!
Tue, Oct 26 1:22pm

Hello RHS Family!  Below is a message from one of our Redwood Frights organizers, Emily Davis:

Dear Redwood Heights:

Thanks to a spectacular turnout on Saturday evening and all the time, talent, and treasure donated by our volunteers, Redwood Frights was a screaming success! We've tabulated ticket proceeds and we’re happy to report we've exceeded our $4,000 goal, with a current total raised of $5,021, and hopes of more thanks to any corporate matching!

On behalf of the planning team, we express our gratitude to the school community for all the unpredictable ways you pitched in, dressed up, and gave generously for this fun and festive event. We feel it was an all-around success and hopefully the inaugural Fright in a future tradition. Monstrous thanks to our venue hosts, Christine & Ashley Kane, for orchestrating safe and spooky fun, as promised. Congratulations to all our costume contest winners -- Pumpkin, Unicorn, Everything, Skellington, Dead Princess, Super Sloth, Miraculous Ladybug, Amelia Earhart, Tiger Shark, Red T-Rex, Jake from StateFarm, and Fire Trooper! We look forward to seeing a reprise of costumes throughout the upcoming Halloween festivities.

There is still time to donate -- @RHSParentFund (Venmo) or redwood.heights.elem@gmail.com (PayPal), note "Redwood Frights" in the memo. Again, many thanks to the parents, students, neighbors, and volunteers who rallied to make Redwood Frights a "spooktacular" benefit for our school!
