Hello RHS families,

 

We’re now less than a week away from the Harvest for Learning Celebration.  There’s a LOT of important news to share so let’s start with a summary.  

  1. Update on the online auction.  
  2. We need volunteers for both set up and clean up.  
  3. Buy your tickets for Saturday now; prices go up at the door.  
  4. Security guard to monitor the parking lot.  
  5. Wine collection continues this week.
  6. Final raffle collection this week.  

 

We Need You!

I’m going to skip to the ask first.  This weekend’s event will be great fun and raise lots of money for the school.  But it takes a lot of hands to make it happen.  We need those hands of yours to set up and break down the room on Saturday.  PLEASE support us by joining either or both teams.  Email Darren Raveneau at dcrav17@gmail.com or sign up on Konstella:

  2. Scroll to Harvest for Learning Celebration under Fundraising and click on See Openings
  3. Scroll to Set Up and/or Post-event Clean-up and click Sign Up

 

Auction Update

The online auction closed on Saturday with revenues exceeding last year’s online auction numbers.  Additionally, our raffle ticket sales have already exceeded last year’s numbers. Way to go families!  Winning bidders from the online and live auctions will pick up their items on Sunday, November 5.  (Instructions to follow later this week.)

 

Get Your Tickets Now!

There’s still time to get your tickets to Saturday’s event.  Just go to http://events.readysetauction.com/redwoodheightspta/auction2017/shop/tickets.  Prices increase to $50 at the door so don’t wait.  Buy now!  

 

Security Guard for Parking Lot

Know that while you’re partying the night away we’ll be watching your back.  We have hired a security guard to patrol the parking lot during the event.  So party on.  We’ve got you!  

 

Wine and Spirits Donations

Thank you to everyone that’s donated wine or spirits for the event!  We still need more so please consider helping out.  Bottles should be unopened and have a minimum value of $15. A volunteer will be stationed at the drop off lane to collect your donations through Friday at 8:20-8:45 a.m.  

 

Raffle Collection

There are still a few days to sell off the last of your raffle tickets.  The final raffle collection will be on Friday.  So knock on a few more doors while you still can.
