Please Join Us for one of RHS' highly anticipated celebrations of the year...the RHS Black Excellence Celebration!

The month of February marks Black History Month, an opportunity to recognize and honor the contributions, achievements, and resilience of black individuals who have shaped and impacted our society throughout history and into the present day.

In celebration of this continued cultural impact, we would like to invite our entire community to join us in celebrating the rich culture and history of our African American Heritage. We are so thrilled to invite you to this year's Black Excellence Event hosted on Wednesday, March 4th from 6:30-8:00pm. 

What to expect:

• A delicious dinner provided by black-owned business, Swahili Spot. 
• A scavenger hunt featuring beautiful Art Projects created by our children highlighting Black History 
• A raffle with prizes including a chance to win a gift card from Marcus books, the oldest Black-owned independent bookstore in the U.S.  
• A performance of the Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing"
• Photo Booth by Michael Forks
• A performance by RHS's Cheer team 
• Special Guest Speaker!
