Chromebook Return Information

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

If you have borrowed a Chromebook from the school it is time to return it! In order for our school’s fleet of Chromebooks to be in working order for the fall, and to make sure that every child will have one to use at school, we need all borrowed Chromebooks to be returned at the end of this school year. Over the summer OUSD’s tech department will be checking all our Chromebooks to make sure they’re working and fixing any that need repair. We also need to take a full inventory of what we have so that the district can replace any lost or damaged-beyond-repair devices. Thank you for your cooperation! 

Please note: This does not apply to Oakland Undivided Chromebooks. They are yours to keep. If you would like to apply for a free Chromebook from the district which would be yours to keep, please fill out this Tech Check Survey.

Please drop off your Chromebook AND CHARGER during the following time:

Cohort A: Friday, May 28th, 8am - 12pm: PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR.

Details: Please pull up in front of the school. We will collect the device from you there.

Cohort B: Thursday, May 27th, during in-person class time

Details: Please send the Chromebook into school with your child. They will give it to their teacher. 

Alternatively, drop it off Friday, May 28th, between 8am and 12pm in front of the school.

Cohort C: Friday, May 28th, 8am - 12pm: PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR.

Details: Please pull up in front of the school. We will collect the device from you there.
