Redwood Heights Association Maker Challenge

Hosted by the Redwood Heights Neighborhood Association

Location: Redwood Heights Recreation Center, 3883 Aliso Ave, Oakland

Does your child love to build and create? Join the Redwood Heights Neighborhood Association for an unforgettable experience where kids ages 5-10 will test their skills, solve problems, and think creatively through hands-on projects! From building sturdy bridges to designing imaginative headgear, your little ones will explore the principles of design in fun, interactive ways. Led by Rochelle Jacobs, a beloved former Oakland teacher, Maker Educator, and Redwood Heights resident, whose mission is to give students hands-on opportunities to create. This event is designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Don’t miss out on this amazing adventure! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Water, juice, and a small snack will be available.

RHS Family Playdates @ Jordan Park

Hosted by the Redwood Heights Elementary PTA
Dates: Saturday, July 13 & Saturday, August 3
Time: 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM
Location: Avenue Terrace (aka Jordan Park), 4369 Bennett Place off 35th Avenue, Oakland

Join our incoming families for a PTA-hosted playdate at Jordan Park. We'll provide drinks and light refreshments and let the kids run free. If you're in the area, come say hey!
