Are you ready to meet/hang/party with your fellow RHS parents, all while raising big money for our kids? That sounds like a win-win to me. Who’s in?
Every year, RHS holds a live and silent auction with hundreds of offerings from parents, businesses in our community, and handmade wares by our kids. It is historically one of the biggest fundraisers of the year.
A party like this requires a lot of helping hands. If you want to pitch in a little or a lot, we’ll find a place for you. If you were looking for a way to get involved with the school, this could be the answer. We’re a fun, relaxed group of folks who just want to put on a great event together. Never been to a school auction? No problem!
Come find out more at our first official meeting on November 17 at 7pm on zoom (link above). And don’t forget to save the date for the actual auction: March 4 at the California Ballroom. It’s a special space with an Art Deco vibe. It’s gonna be great.
In the meantime, business donation requests are starting up, and we need help with that right now (even if you can't make the meeting). If you can pitch in, reach out to Rachel Balsley (rachel.balsley@gmail.com). We have request templates and a tracking sheet to make it easy!
If you have questions before or about the meeting, feel free to contact Auction Co-Leads Emily Wilson at emilyhungwilson@gmail.com or Jen Schneider at jen.jenschneider@gmail.com. Please do RSVP to Jen to help us prepare.
(P.S. There is no PTA General Meeting this month.)
