Updates from the front:

A state-appointed, neutral third-party issued a fact-finding report last week, and you can read it here. The report summarizes the challenges with negotiations so far, and outlines several recommendations for negotiations moving forward.

On Friday, the OEA (teachers union) voted to authorize a potential strike if necessary, and confirmed that they will give the community 48-72 hours of notice before beginning any strike.

As of this writing, no official strike has been called. This means we can count on normal school days Monday and Tuesday.
