The strike will continue Tuesday, May 9. Here are the latest updates:

• Solidarity/Strike School at First Covenant Church continues Tuesday, thanks to RHS parent (and pastor!) Sarah Henry. For more information and to sign up your child, read Tiffany's update here. Also, the school will only be possible if we have volunteers! If you can spare a few hours, please consider signing up. (And to our amazing volunteers so far - we cannot thank you enough!)
• Mr. Jeff will be at the Dimond Branch of the Oakland Public Library from 10am to 12pm. Please note that this is not a dropoff, but it is a chance to engage the kids. (Thank you, Mr. Jeff!)

The OEA (teachers' union) has posted updates to their website outlining their Common Good proposals, and we've attached their fliers in English and Spanish. They've written a parent update that you can read here. OUSD (the district) is posting their bargaining updates here.
