Back to School Night this Thursday, August 29

Parent/Caregiver Assembly @ 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm in the Multipurpose Room

Room Parent Orientation. Thank you to the parents who have volunteered as room parents for each each class! The zoom orientation is tonight to learn more about the role. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to rps@redwoodheightspta.org [link to event details]

PTA "Office Hours" on the Yard. Want more info about upcoming PTA events? Interested in getting involved but not sure how yet? Have questions about the different school platforms? Join us on the yard this Friday morning at drop-off (8/30, 8:25-8:40am) or next Friday at pick-up (9/6, 3-3:20pm) and we'll do our best to answer your questions or connect you with the right person!

RHS Aftercare (BACR)

If your children attend aftercare at RHS and you'd like to connect with other families or ask questions, join the "RHS Aftercare (BACR)" group under Social Groups in Konstella.

Message from Mr. Jeff: Welcome back to the Library!

Summer Reading BINGO forms (for returning students who participated) are due COMPLETED to me by Fri Sep. 6 so there's plenty of time (Bingo print out is attached).
I'm also looking for some volunteers to help out with my weekly library classes. Unlike some other volunteering opportunities I'm looking for folks who can make a weekly commitment or every other week commitment though we do have some need for one-time special events as well. Please complete this Volunteer Google Form if interested (or join the Kontsella Library Committee).
If you're new to our school and have any questions concerning the library please reach out.

March with RHS @ Oakland Pride, September 8

Save the date! September 8 from 10-1. Come roll, scoot, bike or walk with the LGBTQ Affinity group in the Oakland Pride parade! All students and families are welcomed and encouraged to show their RHS Pride! This year, we’ll be marching with other OUSD schools. If you’d like to join the LGBTQ affinity group for Pride or for future events please reach out to Kristan Cassady and/or join the LGBTQ Konstella committee.

After-school enrichment classes from FAD PAD

Please click here for more information about Mary Ellen’s fabulous, fun and creative FAD PAD Fall 2024 after-school Enrichment classes (each 3 hour class on Tues, Wed and Thurs. has a theme and is for K-5th graders with 8 children maximum and 4 minimum)
