Hi, RHS Community!

Time is flying, and our Move-a-thon will be here before we know it. The Move-a-thon is a time-honored annual Redwood Heights tradition: one Saturday where our students walk laps around the neighborhood or participate in movement-based activities to support and celebrate our school.

We are announcing Two Important changes this year:

• First, our Move-a-thon date will now be Saturday, May 3, from 10am - 1pm.
• Second, the Move-a-thon Will Not Involve Fundraising this year. 

As always, we encourage all RHS families to join us for this free event of movement, fun, and food!

We’ll still have our t-shirt slogan and art contest, we’ll still have free t-shirts for all students and food for all, and we’ll still have medals and grand prizes for our students as they get on the move - we just won’t be attaching this event to any fundraising efforts.

Our fall Reach New Heights campaign was a tremendous success, and we encourage folks to focus their fundraising energy toward our spring Auction. (Host a party! Sell raffle tickets! And attend the live auction 3/8! ) Details here!

We’ll get our slogan and art contests underway in a month or so, so please keep an eye out.

In the meantime, mark your calendars and come join us as we cheer our hearts out for these kids. This is a chance to celebrate all the hard work they’ve poured into this year, and it’s one of the most joyful days of the school year. Don’t miss it!
