Dear RHS Families,

Wooohooo! Welcome back to school!

In honor of this return, Teacher Appreciation Week will run from Tuesday, May 16 - Friday, May 19. This is our chance to let our incredible RHS administrators, staff, and teachers know how much we appreciate all they do for our children.

Please note that we have shifted our schedule:

And if your heart is just bursting with so much love to give, your family can participate in an optional opportunity to shower our favorite staff members with gifts from the heart! The PTA has coordinated activities for students to participate in all this week. Please participate in what best suits your family:

  • Tuesday : My thanks are in the CARDS!
    Make a homemade card or drawing for teachers and staff who make a difference in your child's life
  • Wednesday : My teachers grow great MINDS!
    Donate to your teacher’s Wishlist (your Room Parents will send links), donate some supplies to the TACLE program (email admin@redwoodheightspta.org if you'd like more information about what they need!), or donate needed classroom supplies to the school: pencils, tissues, paper towels, Sharpies, dry erase markers, Clorox wipes, copier paper, binder paper (wide ruled).
  • Thursday : My teachers are KEEPSAKES!
    Make a craft, keepsake, or give a personalized gift.
  • Friday : My teachers are LOVED!
    Wear your teacher’s favorite color, give a fist bump and say "thanks" to all the teachers and staff you see. Hugs, High Fives, & Smiles and/or bring a flower from your garden for your teacher and/or favorite support staff!
