Parent point person for mask making project. Work with Ms Matte to plan for and oversee day-of student activities.

On 4/22 at school (all day: 8:40a-1:30p), our 5th graders each make a mask as an art project commemorating their time at RHS. The teachers will supervise; however, they NEED parent volunteers to help students execute this project. 5-6 volunteers requested per class.

Design yearbook, oversee photo collection and layout generation, order yearbook

Collect and organize student photos, help design the yearbook layout/pages

Collect baby photos (1 per student) and create slideshow, under direction of Ms Harris

Take class photo and provide to Yearbook coordinators

Help design and produce a memento (tote bag, tshirt, class photo, etc) for each graduate to remember their time at RHS by. Previous years have run an art contest among the students, with winner's work on the memento.

Coordinate and oversee the end of the year Carnival/party for 5th graders, to take place on Wed 5/27 (1:40-3:30p), on the Aliso yard. This fun-filled day gives them time to hang out together after school one last time, and usually includes activities/games, food, yearbook & memento distribution, etc.

Help select the activities that will occur at the Carnival, source supplies, track expenses, coordinate set-up and clean-up

The Carnival will take place from 1:30-3:30p on the Aliso Yard on Wednesday, May 27th. We will need volunteers to run the different stations and help control the chaos.

Coordinate details for the reception following Promotion. Source cake, decorations, drinks, etc and work with 4th grade parent volunteers, who will set up and staff the reception.

4th grade parents! Help us set up and manage the snack tables for the reception that occurs right after Promotion for graduates and their families. Aliso yard, 5/28, ~10a-12p.
