Hello RHS Community!

Remember your first year at Redwood Heights School when you were unsure of the various family activities, fundraisers, and volunteering opportunities? Or you felt uncomfortable and didn't have anyone to talk to on the first day of school:)?  You could help create a welcoming and positive experience for one of our new families, and maybe even make a new friend in the process. 

Help us welcome our new families! We have 20 families ready to be connected.

Please sign up to be a buddy family. To those of you that previously signed up to be an RHS Buddy Family, please let me know if you want to continue.

In the past buddy - families have...

• called the new families before school starts to give them information and tips for the first few weeks of school and to answer any questions they may have.  
•  invited them to a playdate so they can meet you and your child.  This gives the new student a familiar face to look forward to seeing at school.

We will provide you with guidelines, expectations and your new incoming buddy family information by Friday, May 31st.  Then we will resume connecting new families beginning Monday, August 5th, 2019. If you have any questions, please email margaret.moulding@ousd.org. or cynthia.bagby@ousd.org.
