Would you like to help your kids develop love and enthusiasm for problem solving and math? Deepen the their understanding of math concepts and build a strong foundation for future math studies? There is a perfect opportunity for that!
This year we are starting a Math Olympiad Club for students in 4th and 5th grade. We will participate as a team in the Math Olympiad for Elementary Schools. We will meet right on campus every Tuesday after school.
During the club, the students will be exposed to new mathematical concepts beyond elementary school, learn how to solve interesting non-traditional math problems, and develop their problem solving skills. Additionally, the students will participate in 5 monthly worldwide Math Olympiad contests (from November) right here in school.
When: Tuesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 (adult supervision provided from 3:00pm onwards.)
Dates: From Sept 26th to 5th June
Cost: Free (PTA Sponsored)
Lead Instructor: Kostub Deshmukh (International Math Olympiad Silver Medalist)
Associate Instructors: Raja Alomari & Vijay Rawat
Note: Space is limited so please enroll as quickly as possible. Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students may leave the club at any time. If a student misses more than 3 classes, then their spot will be given to the next student on the waitlist.
