Every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:45-8:10, weather permitting.
Meet at the playground promptly at 7:45 to pick up your running card. Students will run or walk the Walk-a-Thon track.
How does it work?
Runners will receive a bead chain necklace when they join the club for collecting “foot” tokens based on miles run. Parent volunteers will mark tallies on each students running card for each lap completed. For every 5 miles a child runs they will receive a “foot” token to be kept on their necklace. Kids who reach 25 and 50 miles will receive special prizes!
How do I get my child signed up?
To sign your child up please join the Running Club Committee on Konstella and select time slots in the “Student Runners” sign up. Next, complete a waiver for each child who will be participating. The waiver must be completed and turned in before a child can run.
How do I sign up to volunteer?
Simply join the Running Club Committee on Konstella and select time slots in the Parent Volunteers sign up. All volunteers will also need to complete a waiver.
What else do I need to know?
All grade levels are welcome to participate and participants will need to run or walk the Walk-a-Thon track throughout each session. Runners who lose their necklace can purchase a new one for $1 but their foot tokens will not be replaced.
