Making Math Real Workshop
Does your child think math is for "smart" kids only? Does your child have difficulty remembering math facts? Is your child struggling with math in the classroom and experiencing math anxiety? Would you like to know how to best support your child at home?

Opening Doors PTA is proud to sponsor the 2-day Making Math Real®: Overview, K-12 workshop on March 23 & 24 at the College of San Mateo
. Making Math Real (MMR) prepares educators (both teachers and parents) to prescriptively reach students of all ages and abilities. It has the reputation in the professionals community as the only effective intervention for students with math learning difficulties or disabilities.
Opening Doors has drastically reduced the cost of the training from $399 to $40 to make this multi-sensory structured methodology accessible to the entire BRSSD community. We know for many struggling students and families, the MMR Overview training has been a life-changing, transformative experience.
