Walk-N-Roll Wednesday (rescheduled from last week)
Due to the rain last week, we'll try again to walk, scoot or pedal to school this Wednesday! Don't forget to check in at the table on the blacktop.

Safe Routes to School Parent Survey:
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Your feedback allows us to adjust Safe Routes to School (SRTS) education and encouragement program features to best meet the needs of each individual school.  Your feedback will also be shared with decision makers throughout the county who can address infrastructure issues regarding safe walking and biking. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and will close 3/29.

Healthy Schools Initiative Newsletter
In partnership with the Sequoia Healthcare District, we publish a quarterly health newsletter.  This edition focuses on e-cigarettes and vaping, which is a growing phenomenon among teens, and outlines a number of valuable programs and upcoming events.

Ralston PTA's Parent Education Event -- Mark Your Calendar!
Join us for an informative evening with guest speaker, Mary Hofstedt, from Challenge Success! Mary will be delivering the "Well-Balanced Student" presentation on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 6:30–8pm in the MUR.
This event is open to all members of our BRSSD parent community.
Summary of presentation:  When we are too focused on grades and performance, we deny our children time and energy they need to tackle the demanding work of growing up. In this presentation, you'll learn how you can establish a healthier home environment, reduce academic stress without sacrificing achievement and increase your children's resilience, creativity, and well being.
