Art in Action

Art in Action an enrichment program that is sponsored by the PTA and explores programs for the kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grade levels. Art in Action requires one docent or more per participating classroom who teach up to 12 art lessons to their class during the year, based on historical  art eras and well known artists. The committee chairs oversee all supplies, lessons, and docents.

 

We are still seeking for volunteers for the following roles:

- Committee chair

- Docent(s) for 1st grade, room 9 (Baldanado)

- Docent(s) for 4th grade, room  21 (Imura) 

 

These Committee Chairs are to be guided by their liaison on the PTA Executive Board, who will assist in their planning and budget keeping as needed. This Board member is their main point of contact in connecting with the Board to assess supplies and budget needs, obtain approval for final planning, and acquire general association permissions as needed.
