Discovery Day is a school-wide event that takes place on a Wednesday morning toward the end of the school year. The entire school population of children gets to participate in a wide variety of activities and discover new talents and hobbies. The event requires a lot of coordination as we bring in over 40 activities and 60 volunteers, who take over the campus for a few hours on the event date.
These Committee Chairs are to be guided by their liaison on the PTA Executive Board, who will assist in their planning and budget keeping as needed. This Board member is their main point of contact in connecting with the Board to assess supplies and budget needs, obtain approval for final planning, and acquire general association permissions as needed.
