Family Dinner Dance

This committee plans, decorates, and executes the annual family dinner dance. Includes ordering a DJ, photo booth, supplies, and food and drinks as needed for attendees. Tracks the RSVPs so accurate count is maintained for ordering food. Submits collected monies to Treasurer and keeps to annual budget for the event (this is not a fundraiser).  


This event occurs in April.


These Committee Chairs are to be guided by their liaison on the PTA Executive Board, who will assist in their planning and budget keeping as needed. This Board member is their main point of contact in connecting with the Board to assess supplies and budget needs, obtain approval for final planning, and acquire general association permissions as needed.

Chairs can be split up with one in charge of RSVP and monies collected and registration, and one in charge of decorations and purchasing of food/items as needed. Should create a sign up for volunteers that will work at the event for set up, check-in, serving food, helping with younger kid activities as needed and clean up.

This person can be in charge of creating, buying or borrowing the decorations for the dance, as well as putting those decorations in place on the day of the event.
