Action Needed this Week! Help address the Harrison/Prospect crossing concerns
Sun, Apr 26 10:38am
All,

For the last two years, the Bike and Pedestrian Committee has been focused on trying to improve the safety of several of the major intersections our children cross to get to and from school. Harrison and Prospect was identified by our community as a major concern, and we have been working with the town to make progress toward a safer crossing. This upcoming week, we have a critical opportunity to demonstrate that this is necessary and urgent. The Princeton Police Department will be monitoring the Prospect/Harrison intersection to gauge the volume of kids crossing there each morning (note: this is not a crossing guard). If your family regularly crosses Harrison, it is especially important to bike and walk to school this week, so that the PPD can see how many families are affected.

As Spring really warms up, we are looking forward to seeing all of you out there walking and wheeling to school!

warmly,
Meagan Levinson
