FALL IS HERE….LET’S GET READY FOR FALL FEST & COMMUNITY PARTY BOARD FUNDRAISING
Fri, Sep 27 8:25am

It is time to start planning for our Community Party Boards and Fall Fest. For those new to the school or who may need a reminder, Community Party Boards are our primary fundraising activity for the Riverside School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), a great way to get to know your fellow Riverside families and have a little (or a lot) of fun along the way! We are excited to be back together, raising funds for our great school and celebrating at the Fall Fest (Pasta Night) on November 15th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

What is a Community Party Board?

Riverside families, or a group of families, come together to host a party at a specific date, location, and time— at a certain price—and anyone at Riverside can sign up in person at Fall Fest until the allotted attendee count is complete! 100% of the proceeds support programs at Riverside! Parties can be kid-oriented, adult only, grade specific, etc.

Here are some party ideas, to spark your creativity ● Family ice skating ● Family dance ● Roller rink party ● Cooking class ● Rock climbing party ● Dad’s poker night ● Game night ● Pub crawl ● Afternoon tea party ● Scavenger hunt party ● Cupcake wars ● Wine / music soiree ● Art Museum cocktail party ● 3rd grade mom’s night in ● Gingerbread house party ● Progressive dinner party ● Orange theory ● Movie night under the stars.

How does the Riverside PTO use the proceeds from the parties?

Community parties are instrumental to our financial health as the Riverside PTO. Proceeds support Riverside PTO sponsored programs such as residencies, Science Day, end of year assemblies, after school clubs, folders and homework assignment planners, Teacher mini grants, and MUCH MORE!

Can I help outside of hosting a Party?

YES! You can also donate gift baskets for our raffle and/or silent auction items. Example of Gift Baskets: Art Supplies, Candy, Princeton Spirit Wear, Books, Wine. If you know a local business that might be interested in donating an item for the silent auction, we would love to hear from you!

And always, if you would like to be a part of the Fundraising team or help plan and organize the Community Party Boards at Fall Fest, please reach out to Michelle Rowe at michellerowe08@gmail.com or Maggie Depenbrock, msablyc@gmail.com. We have big and small ways to get involved and we need your help!
