This Sunday, Sept 21 (3-5pm) Herrontown Woods is hosting a Fall Equinox fundraiser featuring the local Celtic band, the Chivalrous Crickets
https://www.herrontownwoods.org/events/cricketsfundraiser2025 . This fundraiser will further the continuing mission of the preserve "for people of all ages to creatively engage with nature, art, science and history, and maintain the preserve’s trails and flora for posterity"
Riverside students and their parents are invited to support our local nature preserves by coming to the event and giving out nametags, working the cafe table, and helping younger kids with cornhusk dolls and other arts and crafts activities.
If this sounds fun to you, stop by for as long as you are able for set up (1:30-3) or during the event (3-5).
