Dear Riverside Families,
We’re excited to bring back Riverside community Party Boards!
What’s a Party Board?
A Riverside family - or group of families - hosts and funds a party at a set date, time, and location for a set price. Folks in our school community sign up to participate, and the funds raised go to the PTO to support school initiatives (see below).
Parties can range from daytime weekend events for all ages, to an adults night out at a location (or in at someone's home). Party Board examples: Cozy Fireside Cocktails at Michelle Baxter's, K-3rd Grade Pumpkin Carving and Pizza Party with Alisha Fowler and Kathy Jensen, May Pool Party for 5th Graders.
Party Boards are a great way for adults and kids to make new connections, have fun, and raise funds to support our school!
Seeking Party Board hosts
Our goal is to host 20+ Party Boards this year, starting in October. Last year, Party Boards ranged from kids gingerbread house decorating, to an adults night out with ping pong and Peroni, to a dress design class, to a silent disco. Anything goes; we want to encourage you to please host again, and we hope to recruit 5-8 new hosts as well.
Can you host a Party Board? Your creative ideas and contributions will help raise important funds for the school. Plus, you'll get to plan a fun party and make new friends. Please consider hosting a Party Board by filling out this form by September 10th...

Why host?
Community parties are a huge part of Riverside PTO fundraising. Proceeds directly support programs like Science Day, Residency Programs, Teacher mini-grants, assemblies, after-school clubs, and more.
More details
Families can register to attend Party Boards later this month, once we finish organizing them. Party Boards will be announced no later than the Fall Picnic on 9/26, with both signups in-person at the event and online.
Thanks for helping us keep Riverside strong and connected!
