📣 PTO Update – Communications Coordinator Needed!
Wed, Sep 10 9:54pm

Hello RHE parents,

We’re excited to share that our Communications Coordinator, Sara Corson, has accepted a full-time 4th grade teaching position at RHE! 🎉 While we’ll miss her on the PTO Board, we’re thrilled for her new adventure.

With this change, Sara has stepped down from her role as Communications Coordinator. In line with our PTO Bylaws, the Board is now opening the opportunity for a new Communications Coordinator to be elected at our next board meeting on October 3, 2025.

👉 Here’s what you need to know about the process:

  • The elected person will serve as Communications Coordinator for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year with the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities as if elected at the start of the year.

  • Ideally, candidates will have prior PTO or volunteer experience (such as room parent, committee chair, or active school volunteer).

  • The role requires comfort with computer skills (use of Google Suite, typing documents, managing emails) and a willingness to learn Konstella, our primary communication platform.

  • The main responsibility is ensuring smooth communication between the PTO, parents, and the school community via Konstella and social media

  • Additional details are outlined on the nomination form.

If you’re interested—or know someone who would be a great fit—please submit a nomination using the Communications Coordinator Nomination Form by Friday, September 19, 2025. You may nominate yourself or someone else. If nominated by another person, we will contact and confirm with them before adding their name to the slate. At that time, nominees will also have the opportunity to share why they’d like to serve.

Thank you for helping keep our PTO strong and connected—we couldn’t do this without you! 💚

Warm regards,

Bonnie Sullivan
