Multicultural Night: Country/Culture Boards
Rough Hollow Elementary

Celebrate your culture or a country by creating a display board for multicultural night!

Samples below for reference.

Guidelines:
What: A tri-fold board representing a culture or country

How: Create a view into your country and culture! Include your country’s name and capital, location on a map, and flag. You might also include notable people, places, or landmarks, along with interesting facts like your country’s flower, animal, food, fruit, currency, sport, language, etc. Be sure to include 2 trivia questions or scavenger hunt-type questions that students/parents can answer based on your board to earn stamps on their passports (1 question appropriate for grades K-2, 1 question for grades 3-5).  You are welcome to include artifacts, souvenirs, money, fabric, clothing, jewelry etc to display with your board.

When: Drop Boards off in the foyer of the school between February 24th - February 25th. On event day, Friday March 7th, you are welcome to arrive early (before 6 pm) to set up your board. Families can stay with their board during the event and present the items or leave them to be enjoyed by the guests as they browse. Rattler families are also welcome to wear cultural dress!

If you have any questions, please reach out to our event chairs, Hanna and Nidhi, at multicultural@rhepto.org.
