Are you interested in volunteering as a room parent this year? Each class will have a room parent to serve as a liaison between the teacher, families, and PTO for class and school events. Responsibilities include requesting voluntary contributions from parents for four teacher gifts during the year; managing and tracking funds on a spreadsheet; purchasing, packaging, and delivering gifts; and providing updates to classroom parents and the PTO on how funds were used throughout the year.
PTO will collaborate with teachers who will then notify those selected for the role. Please know that we typically have more parents interested than slots available. For those who are not selected as room parent, we hope you will contribute to our community through other volunteer opportunities throughout the year that suits your interests, skills and time available.
