Aloha Shafter Parents!

Miss. Ronnell Nipp, Shafter Elementary Vice Principal, shared information with Shafter's faculty and staff on "Girls on the Run," a terrific character and fitness program that our female students in grades 3-6 may benefit from.  Attached are two files to provide you with more information on the program and coaching recruitment.  We need at least two coaches for this program who are willing to commit one-hour, twice a week, for 10-weeks (beginning in September) to our students. The program is fully funded and comes with a step-by-step curriculum that concludes with a celebratory 5-K run around Magic Island.
