6th Grade ● 6:00-6:15 p.m. Welcome to Southwest (Dr. Maxwell); 6:15-7:00 p.m. Open House
7th and 8th Grade ● 7:00-8:00 p.m. Open House
Students & families will be able to do the following:
- Walk the halls to find classrooms (please print and bring student schedule)
- Find locker assignments (locker assignments will be posted in hallways)
- Learn about our PTO
- Sign up for PTO/committees
- Pick up after school activity information
- Drop off team supplies
- Get ice cream
Please bring cash or check(s) if you are interested in the following:
- Purchasing a Buzz Book
- Ordering yearbook(s)
- Purchasing school spirit wear
Student Schedules
Schedules will be available on Infinite Campus (IC) starting tomorrow August 4th at 8am. Please bring your printed copy to the Ice Cream Social. If you forget your schedule or cannot print from your location, we will be able to hand out paper copies. Please be advised, however, that printing and bringing your schedule is best and will cut down on your wait time in line.
Reading Goals
We hope that our students have successfully met their reading goals! Please have them bring their reading goal cards to Open House. We will update our progress on meeting summer reading goals outside the library throughout the evening.
Planners
SWM will be providing student planners to all students this year. They will be distributed in advisory.
